I'm a terrible, terrible person!

I had such high hopes for this blog! :(

I got the first job I was interviewed for! (Yay for Tasmin!)

Unfortunately I have to do my training in another location which means travelling 3 hours there and 3 hours back and no matter how much I love cosmetics...I just cannot be assed with painting my nails or blogging after doing a full days work and travelling 6 hours. *Sad face*

I've taken no new pictures or done any new looks but I will give you a review!

Maybelline Color Show in Berry Fusion!

*****This is not  my picture, all credit goes to www.nailistas.com*****

This is the shiniest, fastest drying, longest lasting drug store nail polish I have ever used and its bloody amazing!
Sold in Superdrug for £2.99, it blows BarryM and no.7 out of the water! I haven't tried any other colours in this collection yet but I will be picking some more up soon!!

Lets go to the beach

I've been absent again for a while, I know! But I do have a good excuse, I was preparing for/had my interviews! One of which was really good and the other was awful :(

So on with my nails! I've really haven't done much with them recently has I've had to cut them down and have been trying to baby them cause these bay boys are peeling like fuck :(

My mermaid tail couldn't look more derpy if it tried ;)

Summer stripes

So after my not so great post earlier today I decided to grab some polishes and get a new mani up :)

I look at this and think Hot Mess...which is how this weather makes me feel so its perfect!
My base colour was Elf Coral which looks orange inside and red outside but ah never coral >.>
The yellow is limited edition BarryM
The purple and light blue are Sinful Colors Candy Coated and Sugar Rush
The blue/green and pink are 17 peacock and Parma Violet.
I topped it off with no7 fast dry topcoat and Bourjois So Matt.

I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date!

I'm not actually but I have been slacking with this blog which I apologize for immensely!
The weather has been constantly far too warm and I've been suffering with headaches and nausea because of it :( On the bright side though, I have two interviews this week! :D
Well, lets get on with the show!

I didn't really have anything to blog about but I couldn't stand leaving it any longer so here are a couple of nails I've done over the last few days. This is before I did any cuticle cleaning or anything as I didn't think I'd be showing them :P

These weren't really nails for show, they where more for practice and trying out combinations and things :)

My addiction..

Since I moved to England to be with my boyfriend 3 months ago I've kinda developed a bit of a makeup horde. I was never really very into makeup before I moved, I owned no nail polish and hadn't the first clue about foundation or moistuiser (hair was my thing!)  but since I've been here I've developed a bit of an addiction...

In 3 months I've bought:
5 foundations + 3 concealers
2 primers + 2 powders
3 blushers + 1 makeup setting spray
7 lipsticks + 1 lipliner
2 eyeshadow palettes + 2 mascaras
1 eyeshadow + 1 eyebrow pencil
3 moisturisers + 1 cosmetics bag
1 blush brush + 1 BH berry brush set + 1 nail art brush set
1 set of fake nails + 34 nail polishes (4 not pictured above)

All in all I've bought 72 items.
Some of which where for my birthday and I didn't pay for myself but picked out and bought with Adams money :)
I do think I have a problem though...

Rose Bower is  my newest product and I shall be trying it out today! :D

Oh the weather outside is frightful...

The only delightful fire we'll be having is if the flowers spontaneously combust!
It's a whooping 26 degrees outside, which I'm sure some of you are scoffing at but for someone from Northern Ireland (and now living in England) I am not used to this heat!

I plan on spending my day doing my nails and reading. This weather does not breed constructiveness I'm afraid!

Rose nails + New polish!

Okay so again I'm aware pictures aren't the best but I think I didn't do too badly considering this was this first time I've ever tried roses! Lets just ignore the squished one on my little finger...
I didn't find them nearly as fiddly as I thought I would! I will of course be practicing and showing you a much better version soon ;)

I have just ordered this beauty...
ROSE BOWER
Rose Bower!
I may be a little behind here because I just discovered this brand but oh.my.golly gosh. These nail polishes...If they apply as good, nay! ...magnificently as they look then I have literally found the holy grail.
Expect lots of updates of A-England for me!

Mac Girl About Town Nail Polish Review.

Okay I'll be the first to admit it; My pictures suck and really don't do this polish any justice, but I've got to work with what I've got since my camera decided to crap out.
This is a lovely creamy fuchsia pink which matches the colour in the bottle pretty much perfectly!
Opaque in two coats, I feel like I could have done with 3 just to give it that extra wham but a topcoat had the same effect!
Wear has been good, 3 days before I got any chips on my shabby nails which means all you lucky ladies out there with healthy nails are mostly likely looking at 5+ days wear before it needs touched up or replaced!
I got Girl About Town for £7 in my local Cosmetics Company Outlet :)

Bloglovin' and Tumblr.

I'm trying to find the right platform for me to blog on at the moment so I'd appreciate if you followed all my accounts to keep up to date on everything :)

BarryM Rose Quartz Glitter Nail Polish.

BarryM Rose Quartz Glitter
Swatched over Seventeen Slicker Quicker Colour in Peacock and Accessorize Lilac Sorbet and a topcoat of Seventeen Lasting Fix nail colour.

This is a duo sized glitter polish, hex and micro. The hexs are all this lovely shade dusky pink that almost look like rose gold when the light hits it just right! The micro is holographic and applies pretty evenly across the nail without any lumps and bumps!

I used a topcoat with this because I suffer from brittle and pealing nails but someone with healthy nails could definitely get away with not having one! I found that this mani lasted about 4 days before I got tip wear and chips which is a record for me as I usually have to do touch ups by the end of the first day!

Removal of this was an absolute bitch when I tried to use conventional methods. I ended up using the foil method which worked so much better and quicked :)

I bought both the BarryM Glitter and Seventeen Slicker Quicker in Boots for £2.99 each!
They are available online and instore :)
